Visa D7 also known as pension Visa or Visa passive income (Passive Income Visa) be the Portuguese government issued 2007; is the program for investors with a source of passive income stability, want long settled in Portugal without investment or business operation. This income can come from pensions, equity can transfer, real estate, intellectual property or financial investment. The program aims to attract those who are retired and those who live with passive income to reside in Portugal in an effort to boost the economy. In addition, those who have this visa is not prevented economic activity in Portugal.

2. Dependents
– Children are single and are financially dependent on the applicant.
– Parents (of the applicant and of the wife/husband) are financially dependent on the applicant.

When you have the real-D7, you are allowed to reside in Portugal for two years, then be renewed every three years if you maintain the original condition. In time owning resident card (Residence Permit), not to be left Portugal for more than 6 consecutive months, or 8 months accrued for 2 years.
After 5 years of legal residence, you can apply for naturalization in Portugal and need to pass test in Portuguese.
