Program EB-3 (Employment – Based Third) was established by the U.S. government in 1990 as an employment-based immigration program that requires sponsorship from a U.S. employer. EB-3 is divided into three categories:
Professionals: are individuals whose job requires at least a U.S. bachelor's degree or its foreign equivalent and are members of that profession.
Skilled workers: are individuals who perform jobs that require at least 2 years of training or experience, are not temporary or seasonal in nature. Skilled workers must meet the education, training, or experience requirements of the job opportunity. Relevant post-secondary education may be considered as training.
Other workers (Unskilled workers or Miscellaneous workers): is for individuals who perform unskilled labor that requires less than 2 years of training or experience, and is not temporary or seasonal in nature.

The process of filing an EB-3 program application:
If the worker meets the job requirements, the U.S. company will assist them in submitting an application for Labor Certification (LC) to the U.S. Department of Labor. The application will be marked with a "priority date," which is the date your application is considered. The LC is valid for 180 days.Note: Need to fill out Form I-140 and submit it to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) before the Labor Certification expires.)
Proceed with the submission of the I-140 petition (petition for foreign worker to work indefinitely in the U.S.). This petition is filed by an experienced immigration attorney on behalf of the sponsoring employer to the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). If expedited processing and faster results are desired, the applicant can opt for premium processing, with a waiting time of approximately 15 days.
After the application is approved by USCIS, it will be transferred to the NVC. The applicant will pay the visa fees as instructed by the NVC.
After completing the application, the applicant will receive an interview appointment letter. You need to prepare the required documents, both copies and originals, to participate in the interview.
If the interview is successful, the applicant will receive the visa application (sealed) to present to Customs upon arrival in the United States.
Arrive in the United States to receive the Green Card, start a new life and job in the United States.
